My original plan was simple. I wanted to study Masters in Gender Studies at a US or UK university.

But then my dad threw in something else - Law in UK. So I thought, I can study Law as a degree, then Masters in Gender Studies. When I look at UK universities though, it is possible to double major in Law and Gender Studies.

If I do so, then where would I choose to do my Masters in Gender Studies? Should I start with an average UK Law school, then try for a top notch Masters programme in Gender Studies?

And if I am going overseas, they are going to have brilliant Masters in Comparative Politics, so what should I pick? I mean, my first degree is going to be Political Science. Should I abandon it all together after I get it?

Now that both Gender Studies and Comparative Politics, or heck even International Studies (not Relations) becomes possible, what do I pick as my Masters?

Complicated is complicated.
