I adore the play on words, and the fact that you have to understand the context to understand the joke. FUN!
2. Ich Liebe Dich
Who knew that a conversation by the fire could spark off this entire whirlwind romance? Many didn't expected it to go anywhere, few hoped that it would grow, and certainly no one could expect that it to have a happy ending. Many predicted its demise, warned of inconsistent character growth, which will eventually lead to an ultimate, angst-filled end.
The white wedding proves such predictions wrong. No matter how it continues to develop, at least there was this moment - better than the stage, the hospital, the fights and the reconciliation. There was a wedding, and nothing can take that away.
Almost three years, real every step of the way. Sometimes it may seem to drag on, sometimes there seemed no way out of the mess, but nevertheless it still arrived where many dreamed it would be.
No matter how it goes on, danke and ich liebe dich for all that has already happened.
“So change it. Help change it.”
“Me and what Army?”
