Language Preparation Programme
Jun. 30th, 2010 02:06 amThis is way too cool not to post about it.
So i signed up for the LPP, fully intending to pick German because French is kinda dead to me and Korea does not interest me. But my dad convinced me that French was the better option, since more people spoke it. And I reasoned it out too, which led me to place French as my first choice. I heard from many that I would definitely get picked for my first choice, and that LPP is an utterly easy course to get into. But since I submitted my application, I found myself wanting to learn German instead, to perhaps use it to watch German soap operas or something. I have almost utterly given up hope of getting picked for German.
BUT I WAS.
I was given my second choice, German! Which, whee! Will be fun and exciting. I mean, now I slightly regret not getting French if only for the fact that Paris has genuine branded good at very affordable prices. But other than that, German is the way! Tougher language, I can't wait! :)
