Status Quo and Beauty

allopenstarKick It Up A Notch is the next song in the performance. But due to secondhand embarrassment, I can't really stand to watch it in Starship. On the SPACE Tour though, it is pretty awesome. Also, Joe Walker is awesome in the background.
No Way is a song from AVPS, and it has a fun catchy tune. It is usually sung by a mix of the cast, but on the SPACE tour, has been given over to the girls. They sound awesome.
Status Quo was originally first introduced by Darren on this (amazing) livestream. While there were some fans who had managed to watch the live performance of Starship, this was the first time that most fans could hear the full song.
Status Quo is one of my favourite Starship songs, and it made me realise how much Joey Richter's voice has grown since AVPM. On the SPACE tour, the StarKids rearranged it to become something like a boyband song, and it sounds really good too.
Here's a one of the performances with Darren. I love the harmonies in the song, and the way it works on the SPACE tour. It is awesome.
Beauty is the song that is the message behind Starship. I love how Brant Cox takes the lead in this song, in Starship. Brant Cox has an amazing voice, and I do hope that we'll see more of him in future StarKid productions.
On the SPACE tour, it is an ensemble number, with each StarKid taking a few lines of the song, and it sounds as good as ever. It is also the closing number of the SPACE tour (excluding the encore, of course)
On a random note, Darren has tried to perform this song on his own a few times, and has failed every single time because he always forgets the lyrics. Inevitably, it is always hilariously accompanied by cursing and replaced by Status Quo.
Also, the video below includes the final introductions. Note how Darren hilariously refers to himself as "Kurt's boyfriend on Glee".
One final post about the remaining 4 songs, and we are done with the SPACE tour series. :) Hopefully I have introduced to at least one person about the wonders of StarKid.
