Despite its minor issues, it was good. Like, up there with the best of Season 2.

Someone asked, "didn't Glee used to be like the biggest thing on TV?" Sometimes I live in a bubble, and I fail to take note of how this show is slowly slipping out of public's interest. I feel that the standard of writing is like Castle Season 2, which is Castle's best season imo.

I think Glee is becoming a show where you need to watch every episode to make sense of things. You can't just drop in on one episode and just get it. In this way, I think this is why Modern Family is still wildly popular. And yes, now instead of Glee, Modern Family is perhaps the better way to discuss issues.

But to claim that The First Time story line is frenzy feeding and contrived is dismissing it too easily. It should be done, and this time it isn't ONLY a gimmick. This is seriously an American version of Life is Beautiful.

I would still be watching Glee if I wasn't a fan, like I watch Castle. I think the quality of writing has improved immensely, and here's hoping that it can start pulling higher ratings soon. I would hate to see it just die off like Heroes. Representation is important. Thanks but no thanks if you want all the times slots to be filled with white, straight male leads.

I love Nikita, Modern Family, Glee, Castle, Prime Suspect, Lost Girl, as much as I enjoy Supernatural, Criminal Minds, Suits, White Collar and other shows.
