Second watch: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 2

Immediate thoughts:

1. 3D is really awesome. It is no IMAX, but still worth it.
2. George's ear had continuity. Brilliant.
3. Why wasn't the 19 years later spelled out? would have looked cooler. Also the font was crap.
4. The Malfoy family is really awesome in this. They are as loyal to each other as the Weasley family, except  on different sides of the war.
5. I need a gif of my fav scene!
6. ASP and JSP - Albus Severus Potter and James Sirius Potter. How geeky was it that I immediately knew that upon seeking the initials?
7. Severus Snape really broke my heart in this. - After all this time? - Always. Also, Alan Rickman looks good, and can pull off being young. Page 394, man.
8. I experienced this viewing more emotionally, because I didn't have to keep wondering what would happen. I already knew, so I could focus more on the mood they were trying to create. Yep, so I cried more. 
9. Maybe one day I will have the energy to write about how the Harry and Ginny couple is not working out. Mostly because Ginny is not fleshed out well as a character in the book, and they don't have on-screen chemistry. 
10. I did find the opening a little draggy, but once they reached Hogwarts, I was quickly drawn in despite having already seen it once.

Starkids at LeakyCon makes me happy. I hope they'll announce a new project, preferably a musical.
