Immediate thoughts:
Starkids at LeakyCon makes me happy. I hope they'll announce a new project, preferably a musical.
- 3D is really awesome. It is no IMAX, but still worth it.
- George's ear had continuity. Brilliant.
- Why wasn't the 19 years later spelled out? would have looked cooler. Also the font was crap.
- The Malfoy family is really awesome in this. They are as loyal to each other as the Weasley family, except on different sides of the war.
- I need a gif of my fav scene!
- ASP and JSP - Albus Severus Potter and James Sirius Potter. How geeky was it that I immediately knew that upon seeking the initials?
- Severus Snape really broke my heart in this. - After all this time? - Always. Also, Alan Rickman looks good, and can pull off being young. Page 394, man.
- I experienced this viewing more emotionally, because I didn't have to keep wondering what would happen. I already knew, so I could focus more on the mood they were trying to create. Yep, so I cried more.
- Maybe one day I will have the energy to write about how the Harry and Ginny couple is not working out. Mostly because Ginny is not fleshed out well as a character in the book, and they don't have on-screen chemistry.
- I did find the opening a little draggy, but once they reached Hogwarts, I was quickly drawn in despite having already seen it once.
