Look at the amazing programming. It is so difficult to find a fan community like Harry Potter, because JK Rowling really did create an entirely new world when she wrote her books. And she created on that was accessible, one where the rules and laws were governed logically. I wish I could go for this one (Team StarKid! How the heck are they mini-celebs? Seriously. Are they really? It is so weird to imagine them so. Like, why doesn't the cast of "The Final Battle" have photo sessions?), but it's impossible. This is seriously the end of an era. Gosh, I really want to be there for all of their discussions of the movie, and that panel on the difference between books and movies, and that panel on Sorting, and that panel on publishing, and that one on the future of fandom.
So, today is my 21st birthday, and I spent it like my other birthdays, which is as ordinary a day as possible. I am simply thankful of my life.
I am just so thankful and grateful to be living the life that I am living. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else, and I thank God for giving me the best.
