Reflection of society.

Stories nowadays are very much geared towards self-acceptance. There is a definitely a lack of the angst archetype, the plaguing self-doubt which was prevalent in the 2000's. They do still exist, but in much lesser quantity.

I would really like to see that as a reflection of how far we have come in this decade.
