allopenstarI AM DEAD TIRED RIGHT NOW. DEAD.
Today is a crazy and amazing dad from God. Wow. I mean, my day is so satisfying. ♥ God
Woke up to Amanda's message, to meet at Cat's place to eat Korean rice cake. Time frame is 2-3pm. I had planned to go queue for David Archuleta's showcase from 3pm onwards, at Zouk. Dressed up, with cosmetics and all that jazz. Left house around 2.20. Picked Grace and Amanda up, and drove to Cat's house. Had delicious rice cake. Spicy and yummy.
Left for David Archuleta's showcase at 4pm. Found an awesome parking space near Zouk, and the queue was decent. As usual with showcase, door only opened at 5.30. Only started at 6.20. BAH. David sang 5 songs. All acoustic. His voice is amazing, and is basically the backbone of the entire song. What you hear on the CD is what you get, only 10 times better. His control over his voice is absolute, basically perfect. One of the songs he sang was 'My Kind Of Perfect', And he just brought so much soul into the song when he sang it live. It was amazing, even though it is the first time he performed this song. His voice is authentic, and he will always have fans because of that.
Hung around with the fans for a while, then left for Cat's house again. Went out to eat, and grab a drink at Starbucks. Then drove all the way to Marina Bay Sands to see the BMW expo. It was already closing (10.40pm), but we saw Nicholas Chandra, who helped us, and we managed to get in. Had lots of fun in the expo. Sent Cat home, and the other two crazy kids to eat supper (!!).
Had the opportunity, but didn't say. Maybe next time...
Everything went smoothly today, and I had an amazing day. ♥
