Cos they are smart. They can tell you facts. It's hot when a doctor says something casual and you know that the concern comes from a wealth of medical knowledge. Doctors are not dumb. Can I say just how happy I am that doctors aren't dumb? They are smart, and they know what to say. Smart, but nevertheless hardworking, because the study of medicine is never ending (just like all academia).
Equal relationship
An equal relationship with no expectations of assigned roles. Taking someone out to dinner, and being taken out to dinner. It shouldn't be unconventional for me to do the first, but nevertheless is. Why?!?! Can I say that I hate the idiotic male pride issue that comes into the picture f I try to take a guy out for dinner? Bah, and with it, comes the implicit meaning that I am, supposedly, unable to do so. Yeah, will probably make this an issue to be brought up if I enter into a relationship with someone, in the future. Definitely one of the first few things I'll ask.
