Seeing the world
Nov. 17th, 2012 09:55 pmWell, I have just realised what I have gotten myself into, by deciding to go for my SEP trip. I have no idea what is going to happen at all. But at the same time, I have also accepted it. I am finally over the denial stage, and able to have an open mind for the trip ahead.
I am going to be there, mostly on my own, with friends who will be coming and going. I have learnt much from my New York trip, and I think I will learn even more independence, undertaking this exchange program. I have no idea what I want to see in this city, in this country, or even in the region. I have been to all the popular places, and I don't have the finances to take leisure trips often anyway.
But regardless, I am now able to look ahead and be able to start letting go of what I am going to have to leave behind for a whole five months.
