The Awards Race In Progress

I am so sick of TSN. Ugh. It is a good film, and an interesting one, but I puke whenever people call it a great film. At best, the cast shines. The score and script are average. It is NOT witty. It is NOT quotable. The worst part is definitely the editing. It is complete and utter crap. Aaron Sorkin and David Fincher are not geniuses. The cast, as an ensemble, shines and brings the script to live. 

I feel that Nolan's eye as a director is much better. The King's Speech looks good, and I don't see how Black Swan falls short. 

TSN is fluff, with a good cast. I prefer films like Black Swan, The King's Speech and of course, Inception. True Grit is way too period, and The Fighter is way too staged. 

Well, at least TSN isn't as bad as Slumdog Millionaire. Why are Best Pics always so crappy?

Also, if Inception doesn't win Original Screenplay, it would be the most unfair. As much as I adore TKAAR and TKS, Inception deserves the win.

UNDERSTATEMENT. It is one of the most amazing pieces of fiction I have read, getting into the head of the characters and really bringing out every single aspect. I am kinda obsessed with it.

Also, there is new White Collar. Neal Caffrey is hot. What else is news? :D
