Being a stan is hard work
Dec. 10th, 2011 01:33 amThe previous time that Glee released promo stills involving Kurt and Blaine, we got a three minute scene out of the entire episode. It was cute and everything, but it was also extremely short. I wonder if it is going to happen again. If it does, then I know what is Glee's marketing strategy - misdirection and misinformation. I really hope that it is not the case, and we get something quality like Tina and Mike's interactions in the previous episode. Short, in the background, but nevertheless powerful.
Also, this vid (SPOILERY):
All the couples get a little bit of interact, except Kurt and Blaine. Well, they do get a duet in the episode though, so I am withholding my judgement till the episode airs, but still. And look at how easy it is to air that Finchel kiss. No thought is placed into that, and they can just write it in. But if Brittana or Klaine were to kiss, they would have to calculate the risk of censorship, and have to jump through hoops for it. I really doubt there'll be a Klaine kiss in this ep, since it is the Christmas episode, and Glee is hoping to entice new viewers with it.
Also, Lea Michele tweeted that she would be at the Lima Bean with Naya, Kevin, Chris and Darren, when Grant also mentioned about him getting coffee. I wonder, are they going to meet? Interesting. Despite how engaging Sebastian is though, I would much rather know what Blaine wants to do in the future, and if his parents are pressuring him like Mike's parents were. And how this might be a source of conflict between Kurt and Blaine. Internal conflict is so much better than external conflict, because when resolved, it is so much more satisfying.
