I bet my friends are all sick of me talking about Glee, especially this upcoming episode of Glee.

So I have been spoiled for a couple of scenes, and even more plot points. But, I just had a glimpse of a scene that makes all of this worth it. Just, yes, this episode is going to be incredibly sweet.

I remember when the first spoilers came out, and everyone was extremely worried about how this would continue to crack Kurt and Blaine's relationship. No one was certain which direction it would go, and many were afraid that it would go the way of Blame It On The Alcohol rather than Original Song. Everyone was worried that it was going to be a trainwreck. Then the previews for press outlets began last Friday, and fans were put to ease by the multiple claims that the episode is sweet and tastefully done.

Fans and media began to talk about how groundbreaking this episode is, and the marketing of this episode certainly supports that. Firstly, Rachel and Finn's scenes have not been leaked, but instead it is the Kurt and Blaine's ones that have been continually released over the past few days. Secondly, the promotion of this episode is not controversy, but instead inviting the audience to watch the intimate moments of two beloved couples of the show. Thirdly, the more spoilers are leaked, the more it seems that this episode is extremely well done and well-written.

Once again quoting rm, I blinked and the world changed. This storyline wouldn't have been possible ten years ago, heck, even five years ago. Glee gets so many things wrong but when it does something right, it is done right.

I am expecting this episode to top Prom Queen as my favourite episode, which I never thought would happen.

Just that scene, that scene that I had a glimpse of. It would never ever have been able to be on a prime time tv show 5 years ago. Heck, it probably won't even be shown on Singapore's TV. I just think about the scene, and I say "Look at that. Just, look at it." It is really a miracle to me, and I might just cry over it. This is an extremely powerful message to send, because kids like my sister are watching it. Modern Family, Life is Beautiful, these are shows that educate my parents. But Glee? Glee educates the future generation. And this is one lesson that I desperately hope my sister will learn.

And don't even get me started on Kurt and Blaine's development. That will lead to a whole other essay.

Just, watch this episode if you can. If you don't understand, at least see how the other half lives.
